Flourcrown Patisserie Cafe in Taman Mahsuri, Jitra, is a spot where locals pause for more than just a quick coffee break. The cafe balances the casual ease of a neighborhood meeting place with touches of refined charm, especially evident in the carefully crafted dessert displays that greet visitors right inside its pink-themed entrance. The airy interior, combined with a quieter upstairs area, offers options for both social catch-ups and moments of calm, making it suitable for casual hangouts, light work sessions, or family visits—complete with a kids’ room and a small meeting space.

Regulars often come for the pastry selection, which shifts seasonally. Pastry highlights mentioned by customers include crowd-pleasers like sausage rolls and garlic buns, alongside a thoughtful variety of cakes such as tiramisu, burnt cheesecake, and petite gateaux. The presentation leans toward neat and colorful, appealing to those who appreciate a visually inviting spread alongside their drink. Savory options like the Spicy Alfredo Salmon Pasta and Pot Pie Chicken are also available, though some visitors feel these could use a bit more attention in taste and plating.

The coffee program gets special recognition locally, with a focus on single-origin beans sourced from respected Malaysian roasters. Both nutty and fruity profiles are well represented, served as expertly extracted brews that appeal to discerning coffee drinkers. Offering a range from classic Americano and cappuccino to more niche choices like matcha latte and peach tea, the menu caters well to different preferences throughout the day.

Getting there can be a bit of a logistical consideration—parking near Lot 10A can require a short walk or some patience during busier times—but the payoff is a setting that feels both homey and a little elegant without pretension. For those who work or meet locally, scanning a QR code at the table to order makes dining in straightforward, while the quieter upstairs seating often attracts visitors who want a less crowded atmosphere.

Overall, Flourcrown suits those who enjoy a well-rounded cafe experience where coffee quality and dessert variety are the main draws. Families, friends, and casual coworkers will find it a comfortable spot to linger into the afternoon, especially if seeking a little sweet indulgence and decent coffee in the Jitra area.

I usually eat their pastries and coffee, haven't tried other food on the menu yet. I really enjoy sausage rolls and garlic bun there. They mostly did a seasonal pastries like Merdeka theme croissants. You can seat at the table and scan the qr code to order (for dine in). Go upstairs if you want a better-not crowded area. They have kids room and meeting room (need booking and they charge the room per hour).

All the way from KB and stopped by for lunch. Staff were friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was ok. The array of different pastries and desserts was really nice. There were flies buzzing when we arrived. Didn't wait for long to get our orders. IMHO, they need to improve on their savoury dishes taste wise and presentation wise. Dishes were on the pricier side. The Mango Lemon Petite Gateau was surprisingly nice and tart. Nasi goreng TRX was so-so je. Spaghetti Bolognese could've been better, mushroom soup was the best thing from our order. The sourdough bread slices were cold, luckily my kids suka. My brioche beef burger pun so-so je. I think it tasted like street stall burger biasa, nothing special except for the portion.

This beautifully decorated eatery is not that to locate, however bear in mind, parking is not that easy and at times you need to go round the block or walk a bit to go to this place. Once you spot the cafe, you can see the pink-themed deco welcome you. The counter is close by and you just spot the desserts immediately once you pass the entrance. I tried one of the most tantalising desserts, mango lemon petit gateau. Because of its rich filling and soft texture, i believe even the price does say the quality. Other dishes are awesome too. It's just do standby for extra cash just in case you will like to add more desserts in your plate!

To celebrate our eldest daughter’s birthday, we made a special trip to Flour Crown in Jitra. Although it’s quite a distance from home, when my beloved wife set her heart on celebrating there, we knew we had to make it happen. At first glance, entering through the front door, the café appeared dim and understated—but the real surprise awaited us upstairs. The moment we stepped into the upper dining area, we were truly amazed by how beautifully the space was decorated and how thoughtfully it was equipped. The top floor offers a private dining room that can also be used for meetings—perfect for intimate gatherings. There was even a Nintendo gaming console set up, adding a fun and playful touch for both kids and adults. For families with young children, there’s also a dedicated kids’ playroom, allowing parents to dine in peace while the little ones stay happily occupied. The ambiance of the upper dining area was stunning, with carefully curated décor and a cozy, stylish layout. A beverage counter added to the convenience and charm. For our meal, we ordered Nasi Lemak, a Beef Burger, and Grilled Chicken Chop—all of which were served fresh and tasted delicious. Another impressive feature was the comfortable prayer room (surau) located on the same floor. It provided a quiet, clean space for us to perform Maghrib and Isyak prayers, which we deeply appreciated. The toilet facilities were also very clean and well-maintained, which made the overall experience even more pleasant. In summary, Flour Crown in Jitra isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a hidden gem perfect for family gatherings, birthday celebrations, or even just a quiet meal with thoughtful touches all around. From playrooms and prayer spaces to delicious food and cozy corners, this café truly left a lasting impression.

Absolutely delightful experience! This patisserie is a hidden gem — from the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm smiles and the irresistible aroma of freshly baked pastries. The food is exceptional — every bite feels like it was made with care and creativity. Their croissants are perfectly flaky, the tiramisu is beautifully balanced in flavor, and the cakes are moist, rich, and not overly sweet — just how they should be. The service is equally impressive. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, happy to give recommendations, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. It’s clear they take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee and pastry or celebrating something special, this place delivers quality and charm in every way. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back!
